In your social life, you don't just pick anyone to spend time with- you have a clear idea of the types of people who are fun - and you probably steer clear of those who are not!  Well, the same should be true of your business life. Spending a few hours thinking about what makes a good customer for your business, can save you both time and money.  Here's why:- Understanding the personas of your ideal customers, makes it easier to attract them with the right marketing materials, at the right time in their buying journey. It also means that by being more specific about who you're targeting, you weed out the ones you don't want to attract. Nothing to see here for them ;-) This might sound simple and actually it is! And what's more- it really works. What's the point in spending precious sales cycles only to find that the prospect you're chasing wants an oven, but you only sell pots and pans? Moreover, by focusing on who you're trying to sell to, creates a better experience for your potential customer, as the content is tailored towards what they need.
